ASUS Eee PC 1201K Netbook With AMD Geode Processor

ASUS this day introduced the Eee PC 1201K, which is powered by an AMD Geode NX1750 processor instead of the usual Intel Atom processor. Available in black and silver, the Asus Eee PC 1201K features a 12.1-inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a 1GB of DDR1 RAM, a choice of 160GB, 250GB or 320GB hard disk drive and an integrated 802.11 Wi-Fi. This Windows XP Home-powered netbook also features an optional Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, a 0.3-megapixel camera, a couple of USB 2.0 ports and a 6-cell battery. No word yet on pricing, so stay tuned.
