Grand prize winner to receive all expense-paid trip for four to Hersheypark in the Dark

Valhalla, N.Y., September 30, 2010 – FUJIFILM North America Corporation and Rite Aid Corporation this day announced that the annual Picture Perfect Halloween Photo Contest is again accepting entries. Now through November 8, photographers of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to register, submit Halloween-themed pics and vote for their favorites in six categories: Best Pumpkin, Cutest Baby Costume, Best Kids Costumes, Best Teens and Adults Costumes, Best Pets and Spooktacular Decorations.

“From commemorating a baby’s first trip trick-or-treating to capturing the liveliness of a costume party, Halloween is one of the most popular days of the year for snapping photos,” stated Joellyn Gray, director of marketing, Imaging Division, Fujifilm North American Corporation. “We’re teaming up with Rite Aid again this year to give people a chance to share their funniest, spookiest and cutest Halloween shots – all for the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes.”

The photographer of the overall top Halloween pic will win a trip for four to Hersheypark in the Dark at Hersheypark, Pa., including three days and two nights’ accommodation at Hershey Lodge, eight admission passes to Hersheypark in the Dark, four tickets to Hershey’s Really Big 3D show and four “Create Your Own Candy Bar” experiences at Hershey’s Chocolate World, $300 in Hersheypark “Chocolate Currency,” a Rite Aid pic book and a HERSHEY’S chocolate basket.

First, second and third prizes will also be awarded to winning entrants in each of the six categories:

First prize: Fundamentals of Digital Photography course from the New York Institute of Photography, Fujifilm FinePix F300EXR Camera, $250 Rite Aid gift certificate, Hershey’s chocolate gift basket and Rite Aid pic book (retail value $1072.00) Second prize: Fujifilm Instax Mini 25 Camera, Vivitar DVR 910 Camcorder, $150 Rite Aid gift certificate, HERSHEY’S chocolate gift basket and Rite Aid pic book (retail value $440.00) Third prize: Fujifilm FinePix AV100 Camera, Pinnacle 16 X 20 frame with a mat, $100 Rite Aid gift card, HERSHEY’S chocolate basket and Rite Aid pic book (retail value $335)
