T-Mobile myTouch and Motorola DEFY coming soon to T-Mobile US
First it was the T-Mobile myTouch 3G, then came the myTouch 3G Slide and now you can welcome the myTouch. It features Froyo, multiple connectivity options and a massive touchscreen plus under its hood there is a dragon a Snapdragon. Meantime, the Motorola DEFY showed up on the T-Mobile USA website listed as “coming soon”.
T-Mobile myTouch
The T-Mobile myTouch (a.k.a. T-Mobile myTouch HD) is quite reminiscent of the myTouch 3G Slide but one thing is missing – the side-sliding full QWERTY keyboard. You get a bigger 3.8″ touchscreen, instead of the 3.4-inch one on the myTouch 3G Slide.
The T-Mobile myTouch runs Android 2.2 Froyo and has a secondary camera for video calls plus support for HSPA (up to 14.4Mbps) and 802.11n Wi-Fi.
It is not clear when exactly and for how much the beginner will begin selling. T-Mobile only states it should become available soon.
Motorola DEFY
One more recently announced device is coming soon to the T-Mobile stores – the rugged Motorola DEFY. It is stated to be protected from dust, water and scratches. The Defy packs a Gorilla Glass display and has the MOTOBLUR UI on top of the Android 2.1 OS. Its price and launch date are a mystery, too.
