Skype to announce video calls for the iPhone at CES 2011
A series of video-related announcements already gave us a pretty good idea of what to anticipate from Skype at CES, but things just got way more specific. A leaked tutorial page from the companys official website has revealed that video-calling will be coming to iOS.
Chances are other major platform will be getting video-calls too (hence the series of announcements). We have to remind you that Maemo and its sole smartphone representative Nokia N900 already support video-calling through Skype.
Skype runs nicely on all the major mobile operating systems already and it would be pretty great if Skype enabled the new feature to all of them at once.
CES 2010 is only a couple of weeks away and the few remaining questions should receive their answers there.
