Samsung Wave 723 Gets Handled at IFA 2010
So Samsung has a new Wave smartphone on their hands, the Samsung Wave 723 and was apparently showing off the device at IFA 2010 in Berlin, and the Samsung Wave 723 is also a Samsung Bada handsets.
The guys over at Engadget are at IFA 2010 and managed to get a tiny hands-on playtime with the Samsung Wave 723 and their impressions of the device is that the Samsung Wave 723 is destined for the low end featurephone market.
The main reason being the Samsng Wave 723 sports a “middle-of-the-road” TFT LCD rather than the Super AMOLED of the original Samsung Wave even though the Samsung Wave 723 does tart things up a tad with the addition of a leather grain flip cover.
They also state the Wave 723 screen seemed to be somewhat poor in response to swipes and touch which at first made them thing it was resistive, but apparently it isn’t. The Samsung Wave 723 is also the first Bada v1.1 handset which supports auto-scaling between multiple resolutions and also comes carrying 802.11n support.
