Samsung Google Nexus S Limited Edition Available?
Now the latest smartphone from Google and Samsung, the Google Nexus S hasn’t been available all that long, but it appears there is already a limited edition Google Nexus S version available to buy but is a bit of a mystery.
According to an article over on Technobuffalo, the limited edition Google Nexus S is being offered by Negri Electronics and the only difference from the bulk standard Android 2.3 Gingerbread packing Google Nexus S is the back cover which sports numerous Android bots.
There are no extras app wise or software wise on this supposed limited edition Google Nexus S, but the device does carry quite a premium price at $845.50, but whether that price is official from Samsung or Google is anyone’s guess as neither has released any official comment on this device.
Having stated that, the Android bot covered back cover does look nice, but if that price is true then I can’t see anyone rushing to buy it, and more than likely some accessory maker will eventually offer a back cover similar to this “limited edition” Nexus S.
Question is, is this limited edition worth that $845.50 and would anyone be willing to buy it at that high price? Personally I’d give it a miss and just look round for another back plate, what do you think?
