Google Nexus S has its price slashed to under £320
The typical lifespan of a modern smartphone is 4 months, that is when referring to RRP (recommended retail price) at least. The Google Nexus S with its pure Android experience has now passed that marker and to celebrate, has undergone a tiny price cut, but it’s more than that.
UK on-line retailer Clove have just priced a SIM free, unlocked Google Nexus S at around 318. Now this is not without compromise. The huge difference is the switch to S-LCD screen technology from the Nexus S typically famed Super AMOLED. This is nothing new of course, Nexus S version sporting an S-LCD screen has been available since launch.
Price drops are popping up elsewhere too. A typical retailer on Amazon will sell you one for around 325, still a saving worth thinking about, considering the handset in question.
