BlackBerry Torch Heading for India Soon
If you are a resident of India and have been waiting for Research In Motion to deliver their latest smartphone to your country, Research In Motion held a launch event in India recently at the Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, even though not much info was available on the BlackBerry Torch 9800.
However according to an article over on Crackberry by Bla1ze, the pricing for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 in India has now been set at Rs. 33,900 for when the smartphone hits Indian stores, but as yet no word on when or with which carrier.
Of course for those who which to keep an eye on the anticipate release of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 in India they can do so by visiting the BlackBerry Torch 9800 India website where you can get the latest up to date info.
The only problem with the launch of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 in India is of course the threat that still looms over Research In Motion of a possible ban of BlackBerry devices, so perhaps this is why it is taking a while for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 to see release.
