Android 2.2 Acer Liquid Metal Confirmed Heading for UK

The other day a new smartphone came to light in the form of the Acer Liquid Metal, and word had it that the Acer Liquid Metal would be packing some Android 2.2 Froyo goodness; you can refresh your memory on that article by hitting up (here)

Well now, according to an article over on Engadget by Vlad Savov, and by way of the guys over at Electric Pig, the new Acer Liquid Metal has been confirmed to hit at the end of October and is also destined for UK shores.

Although apparently Acer did confirm that the Acer Liquid Metal will hit the UK at the end of October, unfortunately they were not as forthcoming with any specifications on the new aluminium housed device.

Having stated that, the word is the Acer Liquid Metal will pack a 3.6 inch WVGA touch screen, a Qualcomm 800 MHz processor and Bluetooth 3.0, and of course the latest Android operating system. Any of our readers interested in picking up the Acer Liquid Metal come the end of October?
